"The bitterness of poor quality & performance will linger far longer than the sweetness of low price" – Unknown
Here are the top six reasons why you should buy your next pair of skis from Pierce:
Blueprinting
All customers undergo an extensive Q & A session enabling our staff to better assess your specific equipment needs.
Pierce's Performance Matrix
All of our skis are indexed into an easy to understand performance grid that corresponds with the familiar icons that you see on trail signs.
Independent Testing
All ski models on our shelf have been subjected to independent testing. Throughout the season we test carving skis & recreational race skis locally, in April we close the shop and our entire staff heads west to Grand Targhee Resort to test all-mountain/all-condition and pure mountain skis and in June we head to Mt. Hood in Oregon to facilitate race ski testing. The end results are the most accurate and spot on recommendations for our customers. Not only have we "been there and done that - we have been there and skied that."
New Ski Prep
Manufacturers do a great job building skis but when producing hundreds of pairs at a time they are subject to cutting corners on base and edge finish. Upon arrival all of our skis are Montana "Crystal Glide Finish" stone ground and receive a specific base structure or pattern to enhance glide properties, we then set and polish base & side edge bevels and complete the process by using our Wax Future to apply a deep penetrating wax. When you purchase your skis their specifications are then recorded in your customer notes so that we ca replicate your tune time & time again.
Packages
All our skis can be purchased as a discounted package inclusive of skis, bindings, poles, new ski tuning, binding installation and calibration. We performance match the components to simplify your equipment investment.
Biostance Customization
Virtually all of our skis are Biostance compatible enabling us to alter both ramp & cant resulting in proper alignment enabling you to achieve maximum performance, control and enjoyment of your skiing.
